ABSTRACT. This article analyzes the manifestations of visual culture from a social and cultural point of view and as a form of power. The mechanisms for the conception, production and distribution of visual culture are essential in order to understand the fact that, in the very time of globalization, we do not deal with a less structured or hierarchical space than that with which history has already accustomed us. pp. 60–67
