ABSTRACT. It is no exaggeration to say that everyone is influenced in one way or another by media. No one knows exactly what the influences of media communication are and how people will react in various situations. For that reason I consider it’s time to focus on some main ideas concerning: the concept of influence, the types of influence exerted through communication, the influences on journalism and on media content and some hierarchy of influences. pp. 17–25
