ABSTRACT: A personal letter written by Grigore Vieru (the greatest contemporary Moldavian / Bassarabian poet) arrived at its addressee (the Romanian poet Adrian P?unescu) 37 years later, in 2009, after Vieru died. This text emphasizes the unfair historical brutal separation between Romanians from Romania and Moldova, under the abuse of the Soviet Union terror and censorship.
