ABSTRACT. This article present studies and perspectives of different authors about stereotypies and preconceptions in the intercultural communication. To understand the intercultural field and to avoid labels, we need to take into consideration different aspect of culture, communication and intercultural interactions. From the psychological point of view, the need of cultural, ethnic and linguistic identity is a condition for the equilibrium of human psyhic. The existence of stereotypies and preconceptions is a great important problem at which we can find solutions.
